This depiction of the Holy Spirit is taken from Raphael Sanzio da Urbino's famous "Disputation of the Holy Sacrament", painted between 1509 and 1510. While the group of theologians below is earnestly debating the real presense of Jesus in the Eucharist, the Dove of the Holy Spirit is shown between Christ in Heaven and Christ in the Monstance that is the central part of the painting. This symbolizes the Holy Spirit guiding the Church as She preaches the doctrines of the Faith, especially such central teachings as the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.

This image of the Holy Spirit is offered as an archival-quality giclée canvas print in a round gold frame, cast and assembled by hand in Steubenville, Ohio. It is made to be a treasured reminder of the third person of the Trinity for generations to come.
